Ross Kemp to re-open newly refurbished GO Outdoors Store

Posted 31st March 2017

GO Outdoors, the UK’s largest outdoor superstore announced that actor, author and BAFTA award-winning investigative journalist, Ross Kemp, will be at the newly refurbished Milton Keynes store on Saturday 1st April to officially re-open the doors to the community.

To celebrate the re-opening, Ross will be on hand to cut the ceremonial ribbon officially marking the new and improved store open for business. Ross will be onsite from 9:00am to welcome the Milton Keynes community into the store and answer questions during a Q&A session. Soon after, a day of family fun festivities and adventure will commence including face painting, balloon modelling, an ice cream station and bouncy castle, all guaranteed to keep the family entertained. There will be competitions throughout the day to win vouchers to spend in store plus 15% off, running from 29th March – 11th April in-store at MK only.

In 2016, a fire badly damaged the GO Outdoors store and a temporary outlet was erected to service the community whilst maintenance took place on the site. Costing £1.2 million, the new store has expanded in size and will employ additional outdoor enthusiasts to service the Milton Keynes community.

Commenting on the opening of the superstore Ross Kemp says, “I am honoured to be part of the exciting reopening of the Milton Keynes GO Outdoors store and I look forward to meeting the community on Saturday.

For me, encouraging the public to get outdoors is really important. There is a big world out there with endless adventures to be had, a little encouragement and the right kit is all you need to explore. G
