Do not miss your chance to get involved with the 125th birthday celebrations of Northampton Town Football Club this spring

Northampton Town have announced a series of events that will take place in 2022 to mark the club’s 125th birthday and the 25th anniversary of the 1997 Wembley play off final win. The club are grateful for the support of All Things Management who are the club’s official 125 partner and the supporters and volunteers who form part of the club’s 125th birthday working party group. This programme of events has been constructed in consultation with them and the club would like to thank those supporters for their continued input and support.

The celebrations will kick off with the club’s designated birthday fixture against Tranmere Rovers on Saturday 5 March which will see the team wear a special 125th anniversary kit. Former players will be invited to attend the game and there will be a commemorative programme and ticket available. Hospitality is now available for this fixture for you to enjoy a 3-course meal, receive a match programme and much more!

To mark the club’s 125th birthday this year, we also have a limited number of commemorative double sided lamppost signs available around Sixfields where you can own your very own lamppost by displaying your name or logo on a lamppost banner until April 2023! Included in the banner is your logo/ name at the bottom of the sign, your logo and name on our 125 web page on ntfc.co.uk, two match tickets for the official 125 year
celebration game against Tranmere Rovers at Sixfields on Saturday March 5 2022

The excitement will continue to build the following month when a charity game involving Northampton Town Legends and celebrities will take place on 24 April. Hospitality, mascot packages and sponsorship are now available!

On 20 May, the club will host its Wembley Promotion Anniversary Event to mark the 25th anniversary of the Wembley play off final featuring appearances by members of the
successful 1997 squad. Supporters will be given the chance to show off their own collections of club memorabilia at a Pop-Up Museum Weekend and Club Open Day on 9 and 10 July celebrating 125 years of Northampton Town Football Club. Work is also underway to host the Official 125th Anniversary Dinner which promises to be a glittering occasion on 4 September at Northamptonshire County Cricket Club.
