Fashion club inspires youngsters to create their own look

BUDDING designers and fashionistas who want to learn more about upcycling are being invited to join a thriving club based in intu Milton Keynes.  Sustainable Fashion Club members meet every Thursday evening between 6pm and 7pm during term time at The Zip Yard store to transform items they already own into something new. The first session of 2020 is on March 5. Aged between seven and 12, the youngsters use a range of sewing techniques including embroidery plus fabric paints and accessories. They are then given the chance to model their creations at an end of term fashion show. On the run up party season, millions of women were on the hunt for their “perfect” outfit. And I was one of them. Santa Claus is coming to town in centre:mk’s Christmas Parade
