Do You Dare to Join The Parks Trust’s Spooky Halloween Walks?

Posted 3rd September 2018

The Parks Trust, the self-financing charity that organises and enables over 500 events every year, is excited to announce that tickets for the 2018 Spooky Halloween Walks are now on sale.

One of the charity’s most popular events, the Spooky Halloween Walks will be held Friday 26th October 2018 at Howe Park Wood. The event comprises 11 timed walk slots, which get scarier as the evening progresses.

The first walk begins at 6pm, with sessions running until the final slot at 8.45pm. The walks scheduled after 8pm are for adults only, with children aged between five and eight years old advised to attend the walks between 6pm and 6.30pm.

Booking in advance for the Spooky Halloween Walks is essential as it is a hugely popular event and expected to sell out well in advance of the day. There is space for 25 people per walk and each participant (both adults and children) must buy their own ticket, which cost £6 per person.

Participants are encouraged to wear their best Halloween costumes, with children able to trick ‘n’ treat at certain points of the walk.

Julie Dawes, Events & Community Engagement Manager for The Parks Trust, commented: “It might seem a little early, but we have been busy planning our Spooky Halloween Walks for some time. With all new scares for 2018, this looks set to be The Parks Trust’s best Halloween event yet and we are sure it will be a sell-out. We’d advise anyone who would like to join us to book their tickets now – this leaves plenty of time to choose the best and scariest costume!”
