Colder weather, darker evenings and spectacular shows can only mean one thing… it’s firework season!

Bonfire night has always been popular across Northamptonshire, with impressive firework displays, plenty of sparklers and large bonfires, there are lots of places to go and celebrate bonfire night.

Whether you’re looking for a place to take the kids or you just want a night out watching fireworks, these places have got you covered.

Here’s where to watch fireworks in Northamptonshire…

Santa Pod Raceway

Head to Santa Pod Raceway for a fireworks frenzy drive-in on Friday 5th November from 5.30pm. The team have collaborated with top fireworks display company Titanium Fireworks to create one of Santa Pod’s biggest firework displays ever.

They have worked to design an all-aerial display with a wide frontage all the way along the spectator banking, meaning that everyone who comes will get a great view. There won’t be a bonfire this year, however, there will be side attractions including Red Dragon Monster Truck Rides, Inflatables & Go Karts plus Mini Monster Truck Mania for the little ones! Viewing will be from your vehicle or on the grandstand and parking will be on a first come first served basis. Head to www.santapod.co.uk to book your ticket.

Towcester Racecourse

On Friday 5th November you can head to Towcester Racecourse for a fireworks frenzy with a magical evening. The evening will include silent fireworks & laser displays to music along with a stunning drone display. There will always be a huge carnival fairground onsite which will be free to ride.

If that wasn’t enough there will also be food and drink stalls, plus a kids Halloween costume competition with a whopping £200 up for grabs as first prize. The event starts at 6pm and will be on until 10.30pm. Tickets are £19.95 early bird and entry is free for under 5s. All fireworks are animal friendly, so there’s no need to worry about giving local pets a fright.
