The Mayor of Milton Keynes, Councillor Sam Crooks, joined the cast of ‘The Sorcerer’ at Stantonbury Theatre on 20th July. Staged by local group Wolverton Gilbert & Sullivan Society, the production, with its 1940’s war time theme, proved very popular with audiences and provided great enjoyment.

The Mayor said: “I had taken part myself in The Sorcerer and this had brought back many happy memories of the music and story. This was a well-received and immensely enjoyable production from one of our local, well-established groups, Wolverton G&S. The production was received with laughter and applause throughout ”.
