There’ was nothing blue about Monday at intu Milton Keynes

Posted 23rd January 2019

Branded the ‘most depressing day of the year’, Blue Monday struck this week, but not at intu Milton Keynes.

Determined to make their shoppers smile, despite the cold dreary January weather, intu Milton Keynes launched their brand new funball machine and offered shoppers a free hug from the centre mascot, Bobby Bubbles!

The funball machine is located by the customer information desk outside Debenhams, and throughout Blue Monday intu staff randomly selected lucky shoppers to have a go on the machine. Hundreds of prizes were up for grabs inside the machine, including sweets, gift cards, free coffee vouchers and much more.

Kirsty McGiff, marketing manager for intu Milton Keynes, said: “We like our shoppers to leave the centre with a smile on their faces, so we decided to ensure Blue Monday was no different. January can be a tricky month for some so we hope that we added a little joy to everyone’s day.”
