Water challenge! Aqua race will see the fastest person win £250 cash!

Posted 16th July 2019

Businesses are going head to head in the wettest, wildest, and what could be the most exciting challenge Milton Keynes has seen this year!

Aqua Parcs at Willen Lake has launched its Walk-on-Water Business Challenge to crown the best organisation across the four counties – and by best, we mean the fastest – to complete the 250-metre inflatable assault course!

Individuals taking part in the challenge will be asked to share – and therefore represent – the name of the business they work for. The speediest person at the end of the competition will get a whopping £250 cash for themselves, plus an exclusive hire session for themselves and their work colleagues!

The individual in second place will receive a £200 Aqua Parcs gift voucher, and third place will get a £100 Aqua Parcs gift voucher, so it’s time to make like a true ninja warrior, get soaked and psyched, and join the biggest business showdown in the history of the city!

The Aqua Parcs Walk-on-Water Challenge leader board will be up in reception all summer, showing the names of the top 20 individuals, as well as their employer, and their recorded time. Times can be recorded on Thursday evenings at 7pm when the park is exclusively yours to challenge.

Individuals from businesses in Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire and Northamptonshire are invited to take part – and you’ll be raising money for the much-treasured Henry Allen Trust in the process. So, get involved and encourage your most gladiator-like aquaintences to sign up today too! It costs £15 per person to take part (it’s hardly splashing out!), and £5 of this will go direct to the charity. The Henry Allen Trust helps children and families affected by childhood cancer and works with hospitals to improve oncology services.

Joe Grix, co-owner of the park, said: “It means a lot to us to be able to put on events that benefit the local community. The Henry Allen Trust has become an institution in Milton Keynes and beyond – it’s a charity that is very close to all our hearts, so it was the obvious choice for us. But in addition to being for a wonderful cause, this is going to be a ridiculously fun and exciting competition – we know how competitive people can be in business, and this is their chance to shine and show MK what they’re all about. Let’s see those ninja skills!”

With climbing ladders, slides, play spaces and challenges galore, one thing we can guarantee is that competitors be laughing their heads off from start to finish!

Aqua Parcs is open seven days a week until September. For more information or to book, visit www.aquaparcs.co.uk
