MK Lit Fest: Zine Creator Workshop (Lit Fest Community Programme: Ages 14-18)
Posted 14th October 2023Everyone can make a zine, and in this workshop you’ll do just that. We will cover a short history of zines, making techniques including folding, binding, writing and collage activities, group-making and discussion, and writing or drawing exercises to combat fear of the blank page.
Using pieces you’ve already created, or new work made in the moment, you’ll go away with your own zine, and contribute to a collaborative zine of which you’ll get copies.
This encompasses the final session in the Lit Fest’s Summer Creators programme. Priority booking goes to previous workshop participants, but all are welcome.
