Taking place on Saturday 5th November from 3pm, Blackpit Brewery is out to impress this year. Set in their vast green space surrounded by a stunning lake and ancient woodland, this open-air event will be home to a hand-crafted bonfire sculpture, mind-blowing performances, some of the finest street food in Buckinghamshire and plenty more for the whole family to enjoy.

Buckingham Town Council Bonfire and Fireworks

As one of the most popular events each year, Buckingham’s fireworks night is taking place in the paddock at Bourton Park on Saturday 5th November from 6pm. The event is completely free but donations can be made on arrival to support local community group Buckingham Table’s charitable causes. Fireworks are produced by Titanium fireworks and the bonfire, made up of donated local pallets (checked carefully for hedgehogs!) is assembled by the Buckinghamshire cadets. The event includes free glo-sticks, hot food, music and of course, the firework display and bonfire.

Campbell Park’s City Fireworks Spectacular

Possibly MK’s biggest fireworks celebration, Keith Emmett and Sons is hosting it’s 42nd event at Campbell Park this year on Saturday 5th November. Drawing in crowds of around 100,000 from across the city, it’s sure to be a big one this year as it celebrates MK’s new city status – especially as it hasn’t taken place since 2019 due to Covid restrictions. Residents will also be able to enjoy a funfair for £1pp from Wednesday 2nd to Sunday 6th November on weekdays from 6pm until 10pm and on the weekend from 2pm to 10pm with reduced rates on Wednesday and Sunday. The fireworks display will be free to attend, with food and drink available to purchase.

Wolverton Firework Display

A slightly smaller affair comes from Wolverton’s Annual Firework display which is back after a two year break. The event will be taking place on Saturday 5th November from 5pm at Wolverton’s Recreation Ground. Attendees are being asked to avoid driving to the event where possible in order to minimise parking difficulties and disruptions to the town; it’s sure to be a great event to head to if you’re a Wolverton local.

THAT Firework Spectacular in aid of The Henry Allen Trust

A little later in the month than most events from 4pm on Sunday 13th November, The Henry Allen Trust’s Firework Spectacular is being held at the Scots Club in Bletchley in aid of the children’s cancer charity and is helping to continue Henry’s last wish. On the 15th October 9 years ago, a very poorly Henry watched these West Bletchley Fireworks from the safe comfort of his home through the patio doors. These events are now put on in tribute to the little fighter – so save the date and help light up the sky for Henry. Entry is just £2 for adults and £1 for children and there will be a bar, raffle, face painting, games and more.

Newport Pagnell Fireworks Display

Entirely volunteer run, Newport Pagnell Fireworks Display is a fantastic event being held this year on Friday 4th November in Riverside Meadow. I attended this event last year (and will likely be heading there again this year) so I can vouch for how fantastic and well-organised it is! Free to attend with donations kindly appreciated, the event consists of a funfair, food-trucks (featuring some of my local favourites) and, of course, fireworks. Fundraising for the event hasn’t been able to take place this year, so they are kindly asking for donations in order to fund toilets for the event. You can donate through their JustGiving page here: https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/newportpagnellfireworks?utm_id=2&utm_term=An9YBYXM6. Gates open at 5pm!

The event starts at 6.30pm, with fireworks at 7pm. Remember to bring cash as they are raising money for a fantastic cause – Willen Hospice.
