Clarity of Thinking to help with life’s challenges
Posted 17th June 2023Many people are still trying to cope with the after-effects of the pandemic. One solution is therapy provided by Clarity Thinking, based in Newport Pagnell. Or participating in a range of Counselling courses available from Clarity Thinking Learning Hub, an independent learning provider. These Counselling courses are designed to assist individuals in becoming more effective in communicating and moving positively forward in their professional and personal life.
Since the practice opened its doors in 2008 it has helped many clients with their mental health challenges enabling them to have an improved positive relationship with their emotional well-being.
The founders have both worked for the NHS and have professionally experienced the impact of the pandemic, and the ongoing after effects of the pandemic that has placed the need for more qualified therapeutic counsellors.
These experiences have helped to develop and create Clarity Thinking Learning Hub. There are a variety of course on offer which will help individuals become more effective communicators as partners, parents, professionals and friends. Those people attending progressive courses can also study to become a fully qualified therapeutic counsellor.

Jasmer Chauhan is a qualified psychotherapist, counsellor, and clinical supervisor. He is a Registered Member of the BACP – British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy, Jasmer has been practising for over 15 years and has worked in a variety of settings. His portfolio of work ranges from providing one-to-one therapy, couples-therapy, and teaching Counselling Courses at Brookes College, Oxford University. Jasmer has a natural capacity of engaging with people in a collaborative and personal manner and is enthusiastic at supporting people with their emotional wellbeing and mental health needs.
Kate Dorward is a counselling practitioner, clinical supervisor, and systemic practitioner with 18 years of experience working within the mental health field as a therapist, trainer, and manager. Kate is currently completing a Masters in Systemic Family Therapy at The University of Leeds and is a member of the BACP and AFT, Association for Family Therapy. Currently working for CAMHS, Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services, at Northamptonshire Health Foundation Trust, Kate is passionate about supporting people to improve their psychological well-being and improve their relationships.
What’s the course all about?
The courses are designed to present participants with the correct and appropriate knowledge, skills, and competencies to support them to utilise counselling skills ethically and professionally in a variety of contexts and roles, both personally and professionally.
All facilitators have extensive experience providing a nurturing and supportive environment for facilitating the courses, to work alongside the participants to achieve their goals.
A progression of courses will allow an individual to train and gain experience to become a qualified therapeutic counsellor. All courses will be validated by the CPCAB (Counselling and Psychotherapy Central Awarding Body), a nationally recognised professional organisation that is recognised by membership bodies such as the BACP (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy), UKCP (United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy), NCS (National Counselling Society).
All courses will be facilitated at Harben House, a professional conference facility easily accessible for Northampton, Bedford, and Milton Keynes.
