Posted 27th May 2020

intu Milton Keynes has launched its ‘what makes me smile’ poem competition in partnership with MyMiltonKeynes, and is inviting children, families, adults and individuals to write a happy poem.

Created to remind people about all the positive and happy things in life – past, present and future – the competition is open for all to enter. The winning entry, selected by the intu Milton Keynes and MyMiltonKeynes’ teams, will receive a £100 intu gift card.

“It’s important for us to all focus on the good things in life and what makes us smile,” said Shelley Peppard, general manager at intu Milton Keynes. “This is a great family activity and a chance to sit down with your kids, make a list of everything that make you happy and put it into words,” she adds.

Melanie Beck, CEO of MyMiltonKeynes commented: “The events of the last few months have certainly given us a fresh perspective on life and a new found appreciation for the people and places around us. I’m looking forward to reading all of the wonderful things that make our lovely Milton Keynes community smile.”

To enter, people are invited to write their words on a piece of paper and decorate it (not essential) and send it to info@perception-pr.co.uk or send it as a direct message on Facebook at www.facebook.co.uk/intumiltonkeynes

Entries close on Sunday 21 June at 23.59. Entries will be shared on the Facebook page for all to enjoy.
