Midsummer Place’s Boulevard upgrade on track
Posted 30th January 2023Works to upgrade Midsummer Place’s Boulevard is well underway and on track to be completed in early Spring.
Soon to feature new food cabins, stylish facias across existing retailers, a new public seating area and more variety of food eateries, The Boulevard is the first phase of several major new developments for Milton Keynes’ premium destination.
The approved plans show a fresh new look to the existing food units, as well as four purpose-built double cabins that will house eight unique street-food-style businesses to the area. These will be occupied by several of Midsummer Place’s existing food operators, plus a number of new businesses joining the centre, and collectively, will offer wide variety and vibrancy of cuisine for visitors.
Shelley Peppard, General Manager at Midsummer Place said: “Work is progressing well and the new Boulevard is starting to take shape. The new food cabins will see several new street food options join us plus LEON will have a new neighbour soon, which we will announce in due course.”
LEON and Starbucks remain open and it is ‘business as usual’ while the works are carried out with minimum disruption to visitors. Shelley adds: “We will be able to fully reveal our new Boulevard just in time for the better weather and then we will shift our focus on to the next stages of our exciting changes to Midsummer Place.”
