As we see a few promising glimpses of sun and the blossom starts to cover the trees, it’s a sure sign that Spring is on its way – and intu Milton Keynes has just the look you need for the new season.
This week, the shopping centre worked with local ‘celebrity’ photographer, Gill Prince to shoot a Spring/Summer 2017 collection to promote the new lines of styles hitting rails!
Gill, whose work has famously featured across the national press as part of the MK50 celebrations, captured local models Yasmin Spink and Joe Atherton in iconic settings around Milton Keynes. From the skate park to the iconic clock at station square, shots of clothing from the new Spring/Summer collections were captured to form part of an online competition.
“From the week beginning 20 March, we’ll be releasing an image each day for people on our Facebook page to guess what brand the model is wearing – there’s £50 in it each day for the winning answer,” says Shelley Peppard, general manager at intu Mitton Keynes.
“To officially launch the new season of fashion, we wanted to work with local people and Gill was the perfect choice. The finished images are stunning and not only captures the clothing in a lifestyle setting but also shows off the diversity of locations throughout Milton Keynes. Also, the models, including our very own Joe who works at intu, look fabulous and have done the clothes a great justice.”
Customers visiting intu Milton Keynes will be able to view a handpicked selection of new looks on a giant ‘look book’ on the mall displaying collections of the latest trends, including back to the 80s, pink and all white.
