Striking Events launch biggest Comic Con to date in Milton Keynes

Formed in 2022, Striking Events may still be relatively new to the Comic Con scene, but at its very heart is a collective wealth of comic con experience going back 25 years. Add to that, the family run company has its very roots embedded deep into the area, having resided in Milton Keynes all of their lives.

On May 19th the MILTON KEYNES MEGA COMIC CON will open its doors for the first time at THE MARSHALL ARENA and will signal the next stage in Striking Events ambitions. Already succeeding with an impressive forty plus events that are lined up for this year alone – the MEGA COMIC CON in Milton Keynes will be their biggest event yet!

The Mega Comic Con will have a strong community minded focus, a fun friendly environment for families to enjoy. A fully inclusive event for all which sets us apart from other comic cons. It’s an affordable day out without the normal comic con stress. It brings all the fun and colour that comic cons are known for, and a little bit of everything for everyone to enjoy.

Once inside loads of the activities are FREE – with face painting, 360 video spin, green screen photo ops, retro gaming area, lightsabers training, Doctor Who display, selfie set piece opportunities as well as child and adult cosplay competitions for everyone to enjoy!

Don’t miss the largest gathering of costume groups at a Striking Events show, high five some stormtroopers, gossip with a dalek or two, do battle with pirates, say hi to Mario and Sonic! There will be plenty of characters to entertain throughout the day!

The event will boast the biggest traders hall yet for a Striking Event show with over 200 tables. There will be plenty to see and buy ranging from retro toys, latest merchandise, amazing collectables, funko pops, clothing, arts and crafts, pokemon cards and so much more!

Love cars? Love movies? There will be the biggest display of movie cars to date – see Lightning McQueen, The A-Team Van, Back to the Future’s DeLorean, the iconic 1989 Batmobile and those robots in disguise, Bumblebee and Barricade – all on display!

Officially partnering with The Henry Allen Trust, a dedicated and truly remarkable local charity that strives to keep Henry’s promise alive, Striking Events are focused on giving back. The event will also team up with other local initiatives to ensure that the local Milton Keynes Community can come together to help each other in one amazing comic con space.
