Milton Keynes’ much-anticipated landmark visitor destination, Unity Place, has now opened all of its remaining facilities and is named fully open, following its initial launch earlier this year. Located directly opposite MK Station Square, the multi-purpose venue features an Urban Food Market comprising multiple street food vendors, cafés, the rooftop terrace bar Unity Sky Lounge, and the newly launched celebrity chef destination Dipna Anand’s Kitchen and Bar. The venue has become a key destination, shaping the future landscape of the area by creating a community hub in the heart of the city.

With everything available under one roof, Unity Place offers locals and visitors an unparalleled shopping and dining experience in the heart of Milton Keynes. The Corner Store sells everyday essentials; Baker’s Room provides freshly made bread, pastries, cakes and coffees; and it even features a high-end barbershop, ROK, for those looking for a fresh trim.

For a quick bite to eat, there is the Urban Food Market. Exciting street food vendors include a rustic Italian pizza joint, Raffaele Pizza; Taiwanese rice boxes and bao buns from Bian Dang; and mouth-watering Mexican from Cantina Carnitas. For an elevated dining experience, Dipna Anand’s Kitchen & Bar is the perfect spot. Taste authentic Punjabi and South Indian cuisine through a menu of classics such as Dipna’s well-loved curries, tandoori lamb chops, paneer tikka, and lamb shish.

Upstairs, Unity Place has partnered with co-working provider x+why, offering flexible working spaces for members. The ground floor public Santander Work Café offers co-working desks and bookable meeting rooms, and there is even a branch for its customers to access their everyday banking needs. With over 60,000 sq. ft. of contemporary office space, Unity Place provides breakout spaces, private offices, enterprise suites, meeting rooms, mission rooms, phone booths and more.

There are a few options across the venue for those looking to enjoy a delicious tipple or two. Rooftop bar Unity Sky Lounge offers panoramic views across the city and a fantastic food and beverage selection to boot; Dipna’s bar is a lovely choice for a pre-dinner drink, offering a range of cocktails and mocktails; and the fully stocked Unity Bar offers an extensive drinks list, such as Toast beer on tap and a range of refreshing spirits, wine, fruity ciders and soft drinks.

Sustainability and connectivity have been important throughout every phase of Unity Place, and it is proud to open as a leading social enterprise hub in the area. Unity Place will celebrate the likes of Milton Keynes Pride and many more community-focused events and celebrations throughout the year, as well as big-screening key sports events and momentous occasions.

Tom King, Head of Placemaking and Events for Unity Place says: “We are proud to bring Milton Keynes’ newest destination for dining, work and leisure to life. Unity Place is more than a future-forward workplace that propels innovation and inspiration.
