What’s On at Willen Hospice This Festive Season

Milton Keynes is getting ready to sparkle, and no one does Christmas quite like Willen Hospice. With two heartwarming events this season, there’s a chance to remember, celebrate, and make a difference—whether that’s by lighting a candle or donning a Santa suit.

Lights of Love — Saturday 29 November

Before the tinsel and turkey take over, take a moment to pause. Willen Hospice’s Lights of Love service returns this November—a beautiful evening of remembrance, reflection, and togetherness.

Held at The Ridgeway Centre, Wolverton, this moving event brings people from all walks of life together to honour loved ones no longer with us. Expect heartfelt readings, touching poetry, and live performances that will warm even the chilliest of winter nights.

Tickets are just £5, with every penny helping Willen Hospice continue its incredible work supporting local families through life’s toughest moments.

Santa Dash — Sunday 14 December

Now for something a little more jolly. It simply wouldn’t be Christmas in MK without the iconic Willen Hospice Santa Dash!

On Sunday 14 December, join hundreds of Santas (and the odd elf or snowman) as they run, walk, or dash around the stunning Willen North Lake. Whether you’re chasing a new PB or just out for festive fun, it’s all about community spirit—and raising vital funds for Willen Hospice’s specialist care.

Entry is £15 with a £100 fundraising goal, or you can pay £50 and your fundraising is covered. Either way, every step makes a difference.

And once you’ve crossed the finish line? Step straight into the magic of Santa’s Grotto at Willen Winter Wonderland. Say hello to the man in red himself, snap some festive photos with the Elves, and take home an early Christmas gift—all while supporting the hospice’s incredible care for local families.
