Gulliver’s Land Theme Park partners with Willen Hospice for a charitable day of fun

On Thursday, 14th September, from 2pm to 7pm, Gulliver’s Land Theme Park Resorts will be taken over by local charity, Willen Hospice, for a day of entertainment and fundraising.

Residents are invited to experience all their favourite rides*, plus some extra games and stalls, in an event dedicated to supporting Willen Hospice. Entry is priced at £7, with half of all ticket sales directly benefiting the charity.

Nikki Poole, the Events and Community Fundraising Manager at Willen Hospice, expressed her gratitude, stating, “A heartfelt thank you to Gulliver’s Land Theme Park Resorts for once again offering this platform. Last year was a tremendous success, raising £3,500. These funds enable us to assist not only our patients but also their families. We are proud to say that 40 children are currently under the caring umbrella of Willen Hospice, guiding them through their grieving process and the pain of having a family member with a serious illness.”

Tickets are available for purchase online here or at the entrance on the day of the event. Additionally, the charity welcomes any new and sealed unwanted gifts, which attendees can deposit at the gate. These generous contributions will be used as raffle prizes, further aiding in raising funds for the Hospice.
