Milton Keynes company scoops top customer service prize for sixth year running
Posted 22nd February 2017A Milton Keynes based photography retail company has once again proven to be a “cut above the rest” by scooping a top prize for its customer service.
Calumet Photographic, which has its head office located at Bradbourne Drive in Tilbrook, Milton Keynes was presented with the Gold Service award at the Amateur Photography (AP) Awards ceremony in London.
The firm, which has an online shop and eight stores across the country selling and renting photography and imaging equipment, and running photographic workshops and seminars was voted for by the readers of the industry magazine.
Comedian Tim Clarke, who co- presented the glittering awards ceremony at London’s Gladstone Library, presented the Calumet team with the glass trophy.
He said: “The Good Service Awards were established to recognise and reward outstanding retailers.
“They are voted for by AP readers. By displaying the Good Service Award in your store or on your website, photographers can be reassured that the service they will receive from you, whether it will be on the high street or online, will be a cut above the rest.”
It was the 40th anniversary of the awards ceremony, which was created to celebrate the cream of the UK photography industry.
Speaking about the customer service award, Photography Group Editor Nigel Atherton, who also hosted the event, said: “Our readers tell us time and again what they want from a retailer is a good range of stock at competitive prices, but they also want outstanding customer service, which means extensive subject knowledge and a willingness to bend over backwards to help and to solve problems when they occur.”
It is the sixth year running that Calumet has received a prize for its customer service.
Jon Warner, Managing Director of Calumet Photographic, said: “We are hugely proud that, once again, our hard work and dedication to each and every one of our customers has been recognised. Our reputation is incredibly important to us and this is always at the forefront of our minds when it comes to service and dealing with our customers.”
Calumet Photographic is a leading photography equipment retailer supporting amateurs and professionals.
As well as its rental service, the company also runs workshops, offers a student membership scheme, and has studio spaces available to hire for shoots.
