The return of MK’s Handmade & Vintage Winter Fair

Posted 27th October 2021

This weekend, (29th – 31st October) sees the return of the much loved Handmade & Vintage Winter Fair at centre:mk. Operating once again as the full scale event that we all know and love, the 3 day extravaganza sees 120 independent stalls selling one-off pieces from designer-makers, artists, artisans and specialist vintage and antique dealers.

The event has free entry and is open Friday 9:30am – 6pm; Saturday 9am-6pm and Sunday 10:30am-5pm.

Every item featured at the event is a one-off and no retail items are permitted, making it the perfect addition to the wonderful high street shopping at centre:mk ahead of the Christmas rush. Many of the craftspeople haven’t exhibited at the event since before the pandemic, so this weekend is a great chance to support local artisans.

Kevin Duffy at centre:mk commented: “We are excited to welcome Handmade & Vintage back to centre:mk this weekend and cannot wait to see what the craftspeople and traders bring along for our guests. Some of the traders that really stand out for me include Caroline Coster; who makes hand sewn denim products benefiting a small African Charity, Foxdenton Gin – a locally based Buckingham gin company, and (new this year) Cheryl Manderston who’s pieces are inspired by British vintage textiles including tapestries and vintage scarfs.”

Entry is free and more information can be found at centremk.com or on the centre’s social media channels.
