Bloom Island brings floral magic to Midsummer Place this autumn

Posted 21st September 2025

Midsummer Place is about to get a whole lot brighter – and more fragrant – thanks to the arrival of Bloom Island, a new florist promising to transform everyday moments into something truly unforgettable.

Opening this autumn, right opposite Waterstones and BOSS, the shop will invite visitors to step out of the shopping bustle and into a sanctuary of blooms, bursting with colour, scent and creativity.

But Bloom Island isn’t just a flower shop. Think weddings that feel like fairytales, birthdays that linger in memory, and homes that suddenly look (and smell) like a magazine spread. Every bouquet is carefully crafted with artistry and heart, so it’s not just about flowers – it’s about creating stories you’ll remember.

Inside the store, expect an explosion of roses, lilies, hydrangeas and show-stopping premium blooms sourced from Ecuador, Kenya, Holland and beyond. Customers can even hand-pick their own stems to create a bouquet as unique as they are – a personal touch that turns gift-giving into a little work of art.

Bloom Island also prides itself on service, offering punctual deliveries and the promise of peace of mind for those “this has to be perfect” occasions. Whether it’s transforming a wedding venue, elevating a corporate event, or simply brightening up a living room, Bloom Island’s mission is simple: to make life more beautiful.

Owner Magadlina Rosca shared her excitement: “We are beyond happy to enter Midsummer Place this autumn. With lots of creative ideas and plans, we cannot wait to invite you all into our garden of flowers. Very soon you’ll be able to meet us in person and bring more colour into your life.”

Centre Manager Simon Martin added: “We’re delighted to welcome Bloom Island to Midsummer Place. Their stunning creations, attention to detail, and passion for floristry add something truly special to the centre. We know our visitors will love the experience of exploring the shop and taking home a little piece of Bloom Island.”
