Eloise offers expert post-surgical bra fittings during Breast Cancer Awareness Month
Posted 8th October 2025
October marks Breast Cancer Awareness Month, a time when communities across the UK unite to raise awareness and funds through walks, bake-offs and the familiar pink ribbons.
Breast cancer remains the most common form of cancer in the UK, accounting for around 15% of all new cases. One in seven women are likely to be diagnosed in their lifetime. Encouragingly, survival rates have doubled over the past 40 years — with almost nine in ten women now living for five years or more after diagnosis, according to Breast Cancer Now.
For many survivors, a mastectomy can change their needs for lingerie and swimwear. Finding attractive, comfortable post-surgical options can be challenging, which is where specialist retailers play a vital role.
Eloise Post-Surgical Lingerie, based in Furzton, Milton Keynes, offers one-to-one fittings for women who have undergone breast surgery. The store stocks Anita, a heritage brand that has been making lingerie since 1886 and whose latest post-mastectomy collection is available in-store.
Appointments can be booked via the Eloise website’s Post-Surgery Bra Fitting Service, ensuring women receive expert, sensitive support as they rebuild comfort and confidence following treatment.
